I was wondering if some ILFers out there would be down to start this project:
- I'm not really planning an official label of sorts, more just to give some unsigned ILF musicians a unified home

- It would definitely be a labor of love, no money involved for the label, if the band sells songs/merch etc. it'd all go to the band. I have little experience (one semester) with contract law and would just like to avoid sticky money situations.
- I'd be down to run a blog or website for the label and assist in online, DIY (free) promotion.
- I think it would be cool if some kind of graphic designer/web designer could maybe help bands make cool album art and make their Bandcamp pages look presentable. Also would be nice to make the blog/website look cool.
- Maybe someone to master recordings, if possible. I might try to learn to do this.
Like I said, this would be a labor of love and not a traditional label by any means, I just think it would be a cool way to get more ILF music out there

I'd love some feedback on this, my mind is wide open to suggestions and criticism.

As far as bands or artists go, the plan is to 'sign' (no contracts involved though) a few bands and begin working with them on whatever they need. I wish we could take everyone but we definitely don't have enough people and I'd like to give each band/artist fair treatment so we can't be spread too thin.
The hope is to also have a basic website and blog in place to help linking the bands together on the label.
Again, if you'd like to help, please email me: eelfist@gmail.com

...as long as it's named anything connected to ILF and all, the bands might just as well donate some back to ILF and/or label, and keep it rolling, instead of making a few bucks for the drinks.
