Re: Let's see your PICK!
I buy a bag of Jazz IIIs every time I go into a music shop because of how often I lose them. I have so many now that they're everywhere. In my wallet, around my apartment, in the pockets of half my pants, in the glove box of my car, in the cup holders, on the necks of guitars, etc. At any given time I think I must have at least 5 picks accessible no matter where I am.

Dunlop yellow .73s are my fav. I've recently taken to using these "JESUS SAVES" picks I got for free though.
For bass, I use Dean Markley Blue Steels, .45-.105. Guitar, Blue Steels, .13-.56.

Re: Let's see your PICK!
I've since been playing with ancient, beat-up Gibson heavy Jazz picks and loving them. I dug them out of the bottom of my assorted pick box. I think my picking got better, but maybe it is placebo.

Re: Let's see your PICK!
Got a wegen 7 yesterday and I have decided that this is the perfect pick for me. There was something about how it fit into my fingers and the ease with which I could alternate and hybrid pick plus the way it worked well for hybrid picking for me, that made me decide that nothing surpasses it for me and I have used the thick V-Picks, buffalo horn picks, and stone picks before.
I even ordered a second one from Indoor Storm, which has them for $15 shipped.
Cheaper than anywhere else I have found.
YMMV.

Hey man, good to see another 7 user! I tried one a while ago and it just felt so much better to use. It does sound a little bit different when I hit the strings with it than the usual thin picks, but I kinda like that. Not too much of a change soundwise, but definitely easier on the grip.
Don't hate on huge picks.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Re: Let's see your PICK!

I just started using a pick to prepare me for my eventual baritone purchase. I generally like finger style on bass.
