Got a wegen 7 yesterday and I have decided that this is the perfect pick for me. There was something about how it fit into my fingers and the ease with which I could alternate and hybrid pick plus the way it worked well for hybrid picking for me, that made me decide that nothing surpasses it for me and I have used the thick V-Picks, buffalo horn picks, and stone picks before. I even ordered a second one from Indoor Storm, which has them for $15 shipped. Cheaper than anywhere else I have found. YMMV.

Hey man, good to see another 7 user! I tried one a while ago and it just felt so much better to use. It does sound a little bit different when I hit the strings with it than the usual thin picks, but I kinda like that. Not too much of a change soundwise, but definitely easier on the grip.
Don't hate on huge picks.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

I use snarling dogs aka brain picks. EXACTLY like the dunlop max grip or the ice picks with the texture. I use green for almost everything but purple for soloing/fast playing. have you ever tried sweep picking or strumming your electric with a jazz pick. uh oh. but jazz picks are the shit for fast up/down picking. or for that low C breakdown chug chug fender strat 10's nickel fender bullets.

The orange dunlop tortexs. Too lazy to look up how thick they are, .60 something. On the occasions I use a pick for bass I usually use the 1mm tortexes.
