Re: Let's see your PICK!
I would like to try a jazz pick, if they make them with some texture on them so I stop dropping them. The point on my wedgies is sometimes too wide and I get a scraping feeling as I strum.

Bingo! thanks. Will have to find some of these at the local store to try.

That was me. Those are the best. Make sure you ask for the Max Grip. There are several kinds and some look almost identical, but the material an grittier texture make a world of difference.

Anybody try the Primetones? I would probably pick some up if I could find them in any local stores. Can't imaging they would be as good as the V-picks or Wegens but much cheaper.

I've been struggling to not tell anyone about this...
I want to be the only person that can say "Yeah, my guitar picks are made from dinosaur bones..."

I've got an agate jasper pick from Stoneworks. 5.39 mm. It is a nice pick though I am into the Wegens right now.

I use the ones included when you get an order from Juststrings.com
That or a Jazz III. I like the floppier juststrings one because it's more comfortable on bass for me. I'm not into those huge Big Stubby 3mm ones that are kinda popular, but it's been a while since using one so I'd like to try it again. Super fancy picks, metal picks, and basically any pick above $3 I'm hesitant to try because I lose picks ALL THE TIME. I had a stockpile of them and now I'm down to 3 -- they don't get worn out, I just can't ever find them again.

Re: Let's see your PICK!
I buy a bag of Jazz IIIs every time I go into a music shop because of how often I lose them. I have so many now that they're everywhere. In my wallet, around my apartment, in the pockets of half my pants, in the glove box of my car, in the cup holders, on the necks of guitars, etc. At any given time I think I must have at least 5 picks accessible no matter where I am.

Re: Let's see your PICK!
Dunlop yellow .73s are my fav. I've recently taken to using these "JESUS SAVES" picks I got for free though.
For bass, I use Dean Markley Blue Steels, .45-.105. Guitar, Blue Steels, .13-.56.

Re: Let's see your PICK!
I've since been playing with ancient, beat-up Gibson heavy Jazz picks and loving them. I dug them out of the bottom of my assorted pick box. I think my picking got better, but maybe it is placebo.
