You just made my day with that link. Usually I try to find some kind of positive aspect of things like that to constructively criticize, but that is hands down terrible to me. And not "let's re-record that take" terrible; it's "maybe you should donate your equipment to blind, deaf quadriplegics" terrible.

I'd be more than happy to play with a buncha shitty bands. I love putting people in their place if they suck asshole at music and act like they're hot shit. My band's playing a show with a folk band a week from now, and they were kinda dicks to us. So we're just gonna kick ass opening for them and play like we're closing the line-up. Folkies shouldn't fuck with rock and rollers.
Playing with shitty bands (HI!) is one thing, but playing with a bunch of obnoxious BROS in a crummy, obnoxious Ska band is another.
I say heckle them the whole time, and then just do a really chaotic, annoying, and totally unexpected Noise set while exclaiming how much the band sucks to piss everyone off.
Wow. Assuming this is all some elaborate hoax, that band is seriously genius and amazing....... the scary thought is that it might not be.
The sad thing is that it was supposed to be taken seriously. Then the solo guitarist tried to make it look like he wasn't actually trying to be a part of it and ripped on the band as a whole, making himself look more like an asshole.
Frightening prospect, isn't it.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Ugh, this was a gig at my school... the singer kept spitting on our stage.
Didn't say a word to them, but my friends and I were kinda beefin them the whole time. It wasn't even ska, they dressed the part, but it was just pop-punk with horns.
