short report. i only got to play with it for 10mins before bandmates arrived and we had to get to "serious" practice. :(

The Uranus crusher is quite the nasty bitch. much nastier then the WMD
you can really get that super super shitty mp3 sound now. it's like there's NO control on the aliasing so that just adds to the fucked up bit crushing sounds.
i'd also suggest that it distorts your sound somewhat. like some low settings on a ds-1, maybe it was just my amp.
compared to the WMD which bit crushes your sound in a super high quality bit crushing fashion, the Uranus Crusher sounds so raunchy and slutty. it's excellent. I should AB it with my ass blaster, to see which one has more goatse.
it's an inspiring pedal if you really want some unique filth on your board.

the modes are all pretty interesting.
I'd easily pay 200$ for this pedal.

I'll report back after i play with it more (Which i'm really looking forward to) and hopefully make a little video.
now posting as Forrrest.

here, finally i got unlazy and made more videos for this. one showing if it is "clean". it is pretty clean at highest res. also i added a video with the CV input going. and also a video just of some scope shots with a sine input. the new vids are the larger framed youtube ones. all the videos are at the link below now and i made a few more units if anyone's looking.

I just have to chime in here and say how amazing the Uranus is!! Every song I have recorded in the past 2 weeks has had it on something or other - especially the stairs setting. It adds this delicous sparkle to the top of everything, as well as adding a really nice fuzz - not too harsh, but very distinct. The other modes can get really nasty - Downgrade sounds like the end of the world. It eats my Squarewave Parade Downgrade for range and quality of sounds, and it pretty much the best bitcrusher pedal ever! All it needs now is some awesome artwork, maybe by Laura Bennett? ;)
buncha stuff...

I bet Laura would LOVE to work with Scott!
The Montreal Assembly Waking up on Uranus Bitcrusher is one of my favorite pedals. Super musical, awsome on tons of sources. So soooo good.
My Fax machine just came back as well. AMAZING. Lots of flexibility for such a crazy box.

spill the beans..

will one be a time machine?
and the other will be a boat?
or maybe a pan flute effect (like the metal zone, but pan flute)?
I suggest you make an effect that tastes like bacon. people would love that.

I kinda dig the military surplus aesthetic on these builds actually. :thumb:

Would look great with Fairfield Electric style stamped branding and labeling in my opinion. Super minimal.

Oh - and they sound KILLER! Keep on keepin' on Scott.

I like the Red Panda but it doesn't seem to play will with others in a chain. That could be more of a Line 6 thing but that's my experience. As it is now, I'll probably use it more for recording than playing live.
