Funny things about that album:

One of my favourite KC albums of all time
Never came out on vinyl officially
Only vinyl release is an unofficial russian one, which is this
I've never seen one ever
found it in a small record shop in Kreuzberg in Berlin
it's disturbingly quiet, even quieter than my Dopesmoker but it sounds pretty damn good

They're playing the Sinclair in like a month. Should be pretty cool.

Hell yeah man, that place is big enough that they could play on the floor. The bar they played last night was so tiny (and sold out), there was no way it was happening.

Yeah that'd be pretty nifty. Lightning Bolt are some "local" boys made good, for sure. In contrast, I'm going to see Elder play at the tiny upstairs part of Nectar's in a couple of weeks.

This is definitely on my shortlist for best of 2015 so far.
