but seriously, does it annoy a lot of people when there's no language on album art? I like not having text on art but if more people are likely to listen to music I make because it has a title, that'd be cool.

I'm a fan of a text sticker on the plastic wrap of an album with no text on the actual cover. A clean LP cover is like a piece of art. I'm more annoyed by totally illegible text.

Yeah thats probably my favorite, too. I hate stickers on the actual cover, who the fuck ever thinks that's a good idea? Especially record stores and their price stickers
& I guess if im primarily releasing digital I dont need any signifiers. Im kinda thinkng of adding text to art that has nothing to do with the name of the artist/release
