So much garage rock fuzz moving smooth kick ass overdrive fun. It's good to have a fuzz pedal that I don't crank the fuzz knob on. I dig the smooth fuzzy overdrive tones this thing puts out. Video demo/review soon.

Hizzah! I got my AB for Christmas and I dig it x1000. I too will be posting a demo for it. It's my new main fuzz

I think The controls are ( from L to R): Volume: Self Explanitory Starve: Cuts the 9v supply Gain: Raises or lowers the fuzziness Trim: Intensity of the fuzz
The controls on my Ab #2 aren't labeled either, but I think I have that right.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, God said, "Let there be Lips!" And there were, and they were good, and the lips said...

That's right!
Starve is a volt reducer (does full 9 volts at hard left and reduces). Also, the Trim is basically Gain.

I think my favorite thing about the Algal Bloom is the way the Gain and Trim controls interact with each other. Such a groovy pedal
