Pumpkin's Algal Bloom Praise Thread Now With Video

Post by Ghost Hip »

This is late but with the algal bloom I have....

So much garage rock fuzz moving smooth kick ass overdrive fun. It's good to have a fuzz pedal that I don't crank the fuzz knob on. I dig the smooth fuzzy overdrive tones this thing puts out. Video demo/review soon. :joy:

Where's a new "This thread is relevant to my interest" image when I need one?

Very cool! Video demos and word-of-mouth are pretty much my entire advertising. :)

I think The controls are ( from L to R):
Volume: Self Explanitory
Starve: Cuts the 9v supply
Gain: Raises or lowers the fuzziness
Trim: Intensity of the fuzz

The controls on my Ab #2 aren't labeled either, but I think I have that right.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, God said, "Let there be Lips!" And there were, and they were good, and the lips said...

That's right! :)

Starve is a volt reducer (does full 9 volts at hard left and reduces).
Also, the Trim is basically Gain.

I think my favorite thing about the Algal Bloom is the way the Gain and Trim controls interact with each other. Such a groovy pedal :thumb:
