DannDubbleEwe wrote:ID, Driving Notion and STEP arrived today :joy: the DN is balls wicked good, glad I got it again. Honeymooning with the STEP but am DIGGING the octave and the fuzz is excellent. Haven't ID'd yet.

One of the jack's internal tabs on the DN already buckled in on itself mechanically
Damn. I heard the octave on the STEP was not really that good otherwise I would have picked one of them up too.

I got my shipping notice today! :!!!:

I got my notice over the weekend and a STEP yesterday!!! Didnt have a ton time to play with it but its totally cool and not what I expected. I was expecting something more muffy and modern. At least that's how Devi's demos sounded. It's a lot more raspy and woody. I remember reading that the bias knob was pretty subtle but it's what I expected or even more. More under biased sticky tones than I can get out of my Sparkle Motion. Excited to try them together. Still figuring out how to use all the switches :D octave is definitely cool. Octave by itself is really interesting too. With all the switches off, pretty boring (obviously) Huge amounts of volume with the first switch up. Like volume almost all the way down is unity

Gah. I read stuff like this...maybe I should have gone for a STEP! If anyone here got one and decides they don't like it, maybe we should talk. I need to find some sort of solution to my octave up desires. I can't wait for the DN to get here so I can see if I can replicate what neonblack has done with coaxing an octave up sound of of a Mini+DN+TAFM or something like that.

I ended up having to sell my DN to help get me through my unemployment, so I may be on the look out for one soon.

I want the notion bad. I wish I didn't miss the ID train. Hopefully someone will put it up on the flip for the price.

Anyone got the phaser? Curious how slow that lfo truly goes.

The Faye Sing wasn't part of the sale. If it was, I would have bought 10 of them. ;)

It goes crazy slow.

Also, just curious, has anyone experienced issues with their in/ out jacks?

I got a DN and I'm really wondering if I should've gotten a STEP now... I haven't actually gotten a shipping notice yet though, so maybe it'll get here and change that. Otherwise, if anyone is trying to get rid of their STEP let me know, I have some pedals I'm trying to get rid of.
