I can add my 2 cents. I've had mine for about 5 months, but hasn't been moved around to gigs or anything. Still works fine for me.
I traded it for a Devi Ever fuzz with a friend, and so far I like it. I use the headphone output a lot now, bc I live in an apartment with old neighbours. Used to play it through a 2x12, closed back with V30s in it. It sounded good, and got pretty loud. I like it way better now that I have use for the headphone out, and honestly, if late night volume is an issue I would mostly recommend it for that. However, I do like the gain sounds you squeeze out of it, but the headroom isn't that great and clean volume is quite low compared to gain volume. Haven't tried swapping the tube though

I had one for a bit, but I could cover similar ground with my existing setup, so off it went to fund some pedal that I've probably sold by now.
I liked mine with my 2x12 with the T75s in it, added some bass and balanced out some of the mids, so it's not really a terrible match for the amp.

I gave mine to a friend and got a tiny terror. Gateway drug or something like that into the Orange 'sound' or whatever

Re: Orange MICRO terror
bought mine about a year ago intentionally as a gateway drug to orange. Planned on switching to a dual terror once the band was gigging. Fast forward a year. Band is still not gigging, but I do drag it around about once a week to jam at various places with different people. It still works great. I think you got a lemon.skullservant wrote:I gave mine to a friend and got a tiny terror. Gateway drug or something like that into the Orange 'sound' or whatever
Now I don't want a dual terror anymore and still don't have the excuse to upgrade. Fortunately this little guy still rules.

Re: Orange MICRO terror
I seem to be singing its praise a lot lately, but I love the Micro Terror I got my wife for X-mas. It was a quick gateway to the CR120. And, as crazy it may sound, I'm preferring the Micro Terror! It may be because I haven't had time to really dig into the CR120, yet. Or, could it be that single tube makes so much difference? We've had no issues with it. Not even the "4 ohm cutout". I bought a 12AU7 for it, but haven't swapped tubes. It has enough clean headroom for me. (We just play in a spare bedroom.) And, when the gain is used it is oh so sweet! I was gonna sell the Micro Terror after getting the CR120. Now, I don't know if I can. I'll probably just keep it. The wife'll be happier that way...

Re: Orange MICRO terror
I have a MicroTerror with the PPC108 cab as a 'cute' little amp. Actually I just wanted something small to fit on a shelf, but the Micro terror really delivers a nice crunch tone. As said above, it doesn't have a ton of headroom so a little tube-swapping can help if you want it to sound more clean. Through the closed-back PCC108 it actually sounds and records really well. I looked it up to a 4x12 and I was surprised at how loud the power section is. Fun little amp. Mine has been dead nuts reliable, but I don't cart my gear around too much.
My Orange is sitting to the right of my 2x12.

i now use mine bi-amped w/ an EHX 22 Caliber into an Ampeg 4X10 cab. the micro is going into an open back 1X12 w/ a WGS Reaper HP 55hz speaker in it. it's actually a pretty great setup for solo guitar stuff.

I was going to buy it, then I saved up some more money, thinking I would get a Tiny Terror, but got an Orange OR15. Which I do not regret that decision. Its a beast of a head. I still want MT20 tho. It seems to be the perfect back up/jamming head

Yeah, it works great for that.
