"Dark" Americana, a la Earth
Recommend me some dark, slow Americana-type stuff, a la more recent Earth, some Nick Cave, King Dude, some Do Make Say Think. Vocals are fine, but really looking for some slow, twangy jams. What you got? I've been on a huge Earth kick recently and need something new!

Does you only want electric music or is acoustic OK too?

Dead Man OST and Morricone stuff definitely fits!
And you guys should check this out: https://acrosstundras.bandcamp.com/albu ... one-guitar
Electric is ideal! What else you got?

Also, not like Earth at all, but Murder By Death and O Death are both good choices. Both dark Americana but not really heavy.trace wrote:Wovenhand/16 Horsepower

Well, who knows where this fits in the dark "Americana" spectrum?

So many good ones. Grails, obvs:

The Red Dead Redemption soundtrack has a lot of gems.
Butcher Boy does this sort of stuff really well, too, although they jump around a bit stylistically:
