Hey guys,
There is in fact a recent change to the Cosmichorus circuit... sorry for not posting about it sooner, I had been meaning to lately.
I added a compander chip to the circuit so I could make the chorus signal clearer and brighter. It gave the chorus signal more tonal control with the treble knob and allowed me to push the circuit much harder without all the background hiss. So now it can do very clean and clear subtle vibrato all the way to really weird pitch bending. I extended the speed range a bit too so this version goes even slower and faster.
It still has all the same controls but one thing does work differently now... the volume control no longer affects the whole signal, now it only controls the wet signal. The dry signal stays fixed at unity gain and you use the mix and volume controls to dial in the chorus signal.
I'll of course do upgrades for you guys with 5 knob versions for just the price of return shipping, $10 or $25 depending on what shipping service you want. Just let me know if you're interested in that,

I think the pedal is set up really well now... I thought it was before too but the chorus tone was still on the dark/murky side. Ultimately my goal is a clear and bright chorus tone that can be made very dark or very bright, a full range of chorus effect from very subtle to very weird, no volume drop, barely any background hiss, wide range of speed, and no alteration of the dry signal. And I really think every goal has been accomplished!
Here's a picture of the new pcb, for reference:
