I've seen tips to avoid this. Like keeping a bowl full of mini chocolate bars, that way when you cheat they're smaller.
I've also heard that chocolate tends to be better for you than chips. Especially if you stick to dark chocolates
I think that's something else that I'll be trying
thats your first problem right there, having bowls of chocolate lying around!
you have to seriously ask yourself - do you want to lose weight? or do you want to have treats and comfort eating?
you cant have it both ways.
if i have any chocolate, or cookies, or chips in the house then i cant help but stuff my face with them until they are all gone.
the answer is simple - dont buy them.
dont buy them, dont have them in the house.
when you are in the supermarket, dont put them in the basket, dont take them to the till, dont pay for them, dont buy them.
when you think you are craving them, look down at your fat belly, grab your waist in your hand and feel all the squishy flab.
these comfort foods arent your friend, they are your enemy and they are killing you with gallons of internal fat sloshing around your heart and lungs and liver.
diabetes, cholesterol, strokes, heart attacks.
no chocolate, no cookies and cakes, no icecreams, no fizzy sugar drinks.
those are the obvious ones, and you also need to look at processed foods like breakfast cereals and other things which have vast amounts of added sugar/corn syrup.
its fat food that serves no purpose other then to give you a few seconds of addictive mouth pleasure and a fat flabby belly and premature ageing.
