I'm sorry, I'm drunk. Now I know that, it sounds like a waste of money. My iguana agrees. She's like.... bitch, get me some more collard greens.

Re: Sunn model t preamp pedal!
Sunn model T preamp into a sunn model T = complete waste of money. Although I did snatch up the one correct sound model t preamp that they had for sale. Looking forward to adding something nice to the rythym channel of my 6505+, hoping this preamp pedal makes me love this amp instead of just like it.The demo really sold me on this, instantly made me think of "Led Zepplin's No Quarter", Also noticed by the demo, that they are using a ibanez thermion head, quite curious if they are running 6550's in the power section as those heads take those and kt88's with no moding, mainly curious because thats almost cheating becasue a 6550 power section is the base of the model T sound, ultra linear or not. The bad news is somthing has to go on my pedal board to make room, and have come to the conclussion that I use my fulltone ocd more than my rat, so for the first time in 18 years the rat will be coming off my board. Finding a proper power supply can be a pain, I bought mine from jameco, good company to do business with if your into building your own pedals or in need of small electrical components, if anyone is considering one of these preamps, you'll have an easier time finding a power source by searching for a "power transformer", instead of a "power adapter". Glad to see that the general consensus on correct sound is good. Haven't seen anything negative from anyone that actually owns there products.

I too was at the whim of a female reptilian overlord for about 15 years. I miss that scaly bitch. But I don't miss the colossal rank craps she would spray out every day. Unbelievably foul.

Oh man, can't imagine how horrible that would be. I'd burn the bed.
My iguana always liked to dump with her ass underwater. If I put her in the water before I let her out of the cage she'd usually deuce in there and not in my house.

Yeah thats usually how we do it. But often times im out at work or school for about 13 hours a day so she plshits as she pleases. My gfs iguana passed away last year. She had him for 19 years. Since she was a child. She was devastated.

Yeah that's rough. A lot of people might not understand how you can get attached to a reptile. But they are so long lived, how could you not? After mine passed away it really hit me, "this giant lizard has been with me for over half of my entire life." Anyways, enough of that emotional stuff! Iguanas rule! Especially how she used to wait until I had my girlfriend over to take a loud, splattering dump. Maybe she was jealous?

They definitely get jealous and take spiteful shits if they dont get their way. My iguana is only about 2 years old now. She has free roam of the room so shes pretty happy. Shes a beast when you bring food in though. I can never eat without her crawling up to my mouth to intercept the food.

Oh. Something I should have mentioned regarding this pedal.
Stephen O'Malley had it designed and built to his specifications.
BWOAAAAHHHHHHHH)))))))))))))
Anyhow, where would you put that in your chain?

those aren't going to work so well without electricity. i'd give up electric bands and metal and all in a heartbeat though to go back and live in the stone age. fuck this world.
anyway, iguanas, i had one. awesome critters. once mine took a huge gross shit right on my chest while i was asleep. that was the end of free roaming the room at night after that. it was fucking horrible. eventually i got a dog. they got along for a while, even with the iguana free roaming. eventually i decided to take off with dog and live in weird places and hitchhike and ride freight trains around the country. this dude i knew was a reptile enthusiast and i gave him my iguana. great pet for the six or seven years that i had her though. it was a good thing cause i think eventually the dog would have killed her. he grew up to be a crazy hunter. like really crazy.

Re: Sunn model t preamp pedal!
So, i'm confused. Why would anyone want to buy a Model T preamp? It was my understanding that the appeal of these amps was the volume and headroom. Am I missing something here?

People will buy anything with the Sunn Badge on it, regardless of whether it actually sounds good/does anything like what they expect.
That goes for the band as well as the company.
