Keeping my board looking neat?

Post by Teej212 »

No matter how hard I try to arrange my pedals they never seem to look neat on the board. Majority of them at top mounted jacks too except for my EHX pedals. What are some tricks you guys use to keep your board looking neat a far as cable management? I'm using a DIY gorm board so I can easily tuck wires underneath.

I go under the board when possible and use all of the same type of cables.
Lining them up straight and keeping similar spacing goes a long way too.

Maybe post a board pic for more specific advice. :idk:

I use Lava solderless kits and use the shortest runs possible. They're extremely clean and reliable in my experience. Also simple to construct/modify.

I run all power from supplies stored under a removable floor, also very clean.
