The RV-3 does sound really good. Also doesn't have the same problem in the effects loop that my BF-2 and RC-2 had.

Here's a nice on-stage shot someone snapped of my all-Boss board at a recent show.

I modded my OC-2. Signal chain is OC-2 > BF-2

Thanks! I put in a switch to change it from stock to modded, but the stock sound is so lame (and quiet) compared to the mod, I don't even use the stock setting anymore. Who wants to hear some Legend of Zelda songs?

As long as they're "Link to the Past" relevant (the only one I ever played), count me in!

Guuhhhhh that sounds so good.

I'd be modding mine in a heartbeat if I had any idea what I was doing

Got a BF-2 again, and now that I have it and actually want it/played around with it more (last one I had [MIJ], I got in a trade, just because I thought it might be worth something), I love it. Not as much as this LM-2 I just scored though; that thing's going to be perfect for DI recording.

The BF-2s are solid, if I needed a basic flanger and didn't have one, they'd work just fine.

I never felt unflangulated when I had one, and there was one on my board on and off through the 90s.

I was looking for any cool mods I could do to the boss pedals that I have and came across the "synth mod" for the OC-2

Basically the octave signals come out with a hard squarewave and Boss filtered the heck out of these signals to make it sound more natural like a bass guitar instead of a synth. The mod bypasses these filters taking your squarewave signals straight to the output mixers

If you google "OC-2 synth mod" you'll find a video and the info you'll need. The mod was really easy for me to do, but if you're not handy with a soldering iron you should hit up one of the dudes in the shark tank to mod yours. It makes the pedal way cooler

Oof.. i might have to do that soon. I love the OC-2 but it sometimes feels a bit weak on guitar.
I do have a bit commander and an SYB-3 on the way though so it may be redundant.

Also, any love here for the MZ-2? Kinda thinking of picking one up.
