Radiohead fucking changed the game with Kid A and Amnesiac, and then they follow it up with HTTT? Seriously? That's like if the beatles put out Sgt. Peppers, and followed it with "I wanna hold your hand" Except worse, because IT REALLY HAPPENED. HTTT sounds like outtakes from OK computer, which is spotty anyway, IMO.

I really like HTTT, I used to hate it but I upon heavy listening I think I really understand it now. I like it even better than Amnesiac now.

"the Bends" is the only Radiohead album i actually own and the "HTTT" is the only other Radiohead i have heard in its entirety aside from the Bends so i really don't think i have much to offer only that i think HTTT really speaks to the PTSD malaise of the Bush years and "There There" is one of my favorite songs and overall i like much of Radiohead's Turn-of-the-Century output.

peace.

I'm just getting into Radiohead myself.

Really like The Bends, whereas I found In Rainbows patchy. Been playing OK Computer over the last few days.

In Rainbows, I'd say, is the best. The songwriting's the most sophisticated. The modernist influence really comes out. Wonderful. Kid A and Amnesiac are also godly. OK Computer is an amazing, transcendent rock album, and my love of it has faded a bit with the simple fact that I'm not as interested in straight-up rock anymore.

Hail To The Thief would be okay if it cut the weaker tracks and wasn't coming right after Amnesiac.

The Bends is mostly pretty boring for me now, especially in comparison to the rest of their oeuvre.

Some love for In Rainbows!

I really wish we could get Jools over here. Probably one of the best shows ever. Here's a few from a performance after the release of In Rainbows.
