Skip the Mastotron. With all the knobs on 10 it sounds alright, although a little too polished for me, but any other setting is just weak. It claims tweakability but all the tweaks just cut more and more bass. And what's the point of a bass fuzz that sounds like a bunch of bees? :idk: Not that there is anything wrong with that sound, just WTF? It's not BASS FUZZ.

I second the Super Massive Black Hole. :thumb: It keeps (even adds) low end and the fuzz is almost like a separate artifact of the sound on top of the bass, which makes it extra krispy and fattening. I like the SMBH for rhythm bass, but for lead bass.....
.....I loves me some BIT. It'll punch you in the face and cause you to :omg:

Hey Guys/Gals

Thanks for all the tips. Turns out there was a Super Massive Black Hole in stock at Ludlow, so I grabbed it. Also grabbed a Bit since I loved Zelda as a kid. Turns out they were the last in stock, lucky me. Very happy I got the SMBH, and appreciate the advice to go that direction. Also demoed an Echolution while was there, lovely pedal. And the Moog guitar there is just sick....
Cheers!
