Looking for a Bass Fuzz that's not a Zvex

I just posted an intro to myself, and I am new to this forum. Please excuse this question if its a repeat, and also, I'm beginning to gather from my short time here that Zvex isn't the most poplar manufacturer on this board. But I do like his Woolly Mammoth, to some degree, as my bassist uses one and his tone has improved as a result.
But I hate that its $360, which is way high compared to Devi's prices.

What I like about the WM is that it remains tight with low frequency material, whereas most fuzzes sound brilliant with upper register playing but get flubby with the low end. As I play a detuned baritone, I'm essentially in bass note range so I need a fuzz that will track low notes well.

Are there any suggestions people have? Firstly I'd like to get something of Devi's if it suits, but I have several of her pedals already, the Improb Drive, TBD, Synth Mangler, and Shoegazer. Happy to consider any other manufacturer though.

The Arger Capricorn Bass Fuzz has that WM vibe... also, if you can find one, the Super Massive Black Hole is great too... (I own a SMBH but not a Arger.)

I know there are others, but those are the two that I'd recommend.

i know electro-harmonix makes a bass fuzz - i've never tried it, but i like their stuff most of the time.

I haven't played the Bass big Muff, but I had a Big Muff with Tone Wicker that worked well with bass when you took the tone control out of the circuit. Maybe the Bass big Muff would be a simple/inexpensive bass fuzz.

The Devi Ever Super Massive Black Hole is a good one too. The Soda Meiser would work also at lower intensities.

Thanks for the replies so far. I've got a Big Muff, so I'm probably going to go with something else. The Super Black Hole could be cool, wish Ludlow Guitars had one in stock to demo. Anyone tried the Hair of the Dog by Dwarfcraft? I have got to get his power suck pedal, just watched the vids. Brilliant.

I would like to try the Great Wall - it's certainly on my list. Right now, though, my go-to bass fuzzes (and anyone who's been here for a while has heard this OVER AND OVER AGAIN) are my Cherry Pop and my Malekko B:assmaster. My Malekko is the silicon version, which is pretty brash, but that's what I like about it - I've heard people say that the Germanium version is much smoother. The Cherry Pop is essentially the Soda Meiser circuit with a wonderful wonderful tone circuit, and believe me, it can certainly retain yr lows (and even add a few if you want).

Just about every Dwarfcraft pedal is built for lows - personally, I want an Eau Claire Thunder (classic Aen demo:)

...but it is a little more expensive - nowhere near Vex territory, though. That said, for the number of sounds you can get out of that thing, it's so worth the cash. I've heard good things about the Hair of the Dog, but for my money, the ECT just rules.

Aen, I wish you stocked your pedals at Ludlow Guitars like Devi so I could play with them this afternoon. Just found out about your shit and I'm dying to try it.
Crap, I need about 4k for all the pedals I still want to buy and I already have about 40 of them. My wife probably thinks its ridiculous. I'm hiding two pedals from her in my suitcase right now (we're visiting NYC), ha.

carl, the dwarfcraft eau claire thunder is awesome on bass. my bass player has one and he sounds much better now! thanks aen!

dwarfcraft also makes a secret destroyer that is available only at http://www.fuzzhugger.com that sounds great on bass. it is a mean nasty little guy and might not be what you are looking for, but it loves basses.

MM also hit it right on the head with fuzzhugger's great wall. this is also a wonderful pedal for bass. tom at fuzzhugger is great to deal with, and he will tweak stuff for you if you know what you are looking for.

i play guitar primarily and bought a great wall and secret destroyer. they both sound great when i run my ibanez asb-140 artcore bass with flat wounds on it through them. i would go dwarfcraft or fuzzhuggger for my bass fuzzies!!! in fact if i had about 4k i would have all of both of their pedals and some dr. scientist!!!!

really? I just thought it was kind of a cheapo circuit of his, but I did notice that it seems to have a wave shaper knob similar to the "pinch" on the WM. Price is finally getting better on his stuff if so....
