GUYS STOP MAKING ME WANT A SLICER AGAIN

The fact you can loop with it is pretty awesome
I never did much texture looping with it when I had it... ugh

So on a whim I borrowed my guitar players Ds-1 w/ Keeley Ultra mod and put it on my bass board last night..... and I ran it through practice with medium / low gain in ultra mode.... and... well.... I'm posting this in the boss "appreciation" thread so you can guess that..... I LIKED IT!!!! :idk: Havent used a boss pedal in forever but this one doesn't have a shitty buffer, its medium / low gain tones had great articulation even during fast playing, and in ultra mode it doesn't really color the tone (unlike the SEM mode which i did not like on bass at all). I have to admit.... I like a boss pedal.

I have a number of friends that use unmodded DS-1s on bass and I'm always surprised and impressed even though I know it's coming

I've got an OC-2 right now. It's pretty much the best bass octave for the cash. I've had a BF-2, DD-5 and DD-20 in the past they were all decent and did pretty much what they were supposed to do. I liked them all.

I just love the DD-7 so much

I was playing around with it today and discovered that the modulate setting is actually really cool. At first I didn't really like it because it has no rate or depth control but I feel like they set it fixed at a tasteful setting anyway

Nice demo Officer B! I like that spooky vibe. You're right, the modulation is spot on!

Thanks!

It's my SG Standard with the regular pickups into my Rangemaster clone (which is set low) into the DD-7 into my little practice amp.

The practice amp is like something you'd find at a swap meet or something. It's this really cheap little solid state thing that just says "GAX" on it. I found it in the attic. The speaker is tiny, like five inches in diameter. It's pretty noisy and dark but sounds kinda cool and has a pretty funky choppy trem.

Basically I just use it because my ac30 is at my drummer's house and would distort my iPhone mic anyways. I would rather have a Champ or something but the GAX has served me well

if you want a delay that has tap tempo and sounds like a well maintained re-201, than this is your huckleberry.

i have been using it as my main delay for about 5 years now cuz it SOUNDZ SEW GEWD

but really it has this amazing character to it. it just sounds awesome. reverb is hilariously bad but strangely usable. get some.
