Re: Boss pedals appreciation thread
the OC-2 is cool because of how poorly it tracks- adds a nice and lively feel to leads because it's a little unpredictable. I've seen it commonly used with a more robust divider like a POG so you can the best of both worlds.

The tracking is totally dependent on how you play.

The OC-2 definitely forces you to play a certain way if you want the tracking to be decent. I like that, it works really cool for like punchy staccato bass riffs.
Also, if any of you get the chance, run an OC-2 into an FZ-2. Words cannot describe...

Dude it's SO FUN!
I love the way it kinda glitches. Sounds like sparkly crystals
Also the detune and trem arm are freaking sweet. Mainly I'm just in love with that two octave up

I'm also a big fan of this. I was just doing P-bass -> +1 Octave -> TAFM, & with the tone rolled all the way off on the bass the tracking glitched ever now and then, but mainly glided from note to note and sounded like a fucking smooth ass saw tooth synth. Shit is so sick.
Also, harmonist in 6ths mode rules.

The FZ-2 was too much of a one-trick pony for me.
