If you are going to post here, why not do so in a positive fashion? Perhaps write about what guitar effects your supergroup likes to use. Does Roger O'Donnell run his keys through anything? I know that the other guys in the Cure used a lot of Boss effects. I bought a CE-2 and a BF-2 inspired by early Cure albums (although I do understand Roger was not involved with them). I'm sure a lot of us here would like to see some pedal-board shots!

There is a thread on this site that has totally gone out of control slamming a prominent company I work with and it's owners, and it's really become a nuisance. Since I've been defending them and am already logged in, one of admins at Minoan Music asked if I could pass this on to you for deletion of the thread. It's all totally legit, no scamming, they represent major artists like Iggy Pop, and work with everyone from Atlantic Records to Paramount Pictures, and all of their info is online and below. Please consider deleted the thread, as it really lowers the credibility of your site with so many amateurs making immature comments, and frankly, it's pissing everyone off as they've had to explain to new clients what all this is about! Hi Tom. Our company Minoan Music has been around for over 10 years, and has built up a credible reputation across the board in all facets of the industry. This thread has moved into the absurd, and I would appreciate it if you would delete it. The guy who started the board was never a client. In fact, we spent a lot of extra time with him explaining details, and even offered him a discount for our work to help him out. We do that a lot for Indie artists that could use a hand. We sent him paperwork, he agreed that he wanted to do it and was excited, and then posted this thread. Unfortunately it does happen, but once immature amateurs get into the mix, it becomes a free for all, and it's inappropriate that something like this should be on public display worrying clients. We've never had a complaint, we work with Indies and Majors, and you can get a taste of our clientele and catalogue of music from these links:

No the text box at the bottom, captioning the image, was added when the image was used in the historical revisionist publication The Barnes Review. It's from that box that I quoted. It was published in 2004. So the soldier isn't laughing at that. He is laughing at Hitler's propaganda, though.

So I just read this whole thread, and hopefully can provide some insight.... My band is currently signed to a music licensing firm called Pusher Music. http://www.pushermusic.com/#who You can see us (Drop Electric) listed directly after DJ Shadow in the WHO section of their website. When we decided to work with them they presented us with a written contract. They provide the same services as this proclaimed Minoan Music, but unlike this supposed "legitimate" company Pusher provides links to what they have done (which includes trailers for many, many well known movies), lists their current roster of bands (which includes the ones with notoriety), and provided us with a written contract that outlined what they would do for us and expectations from both sides. They are also easily findable in a myriad of different ways just by googling their name, including many direct connections between them and their artists. Not just wild claims of who works with them but prefers anonymity.

I'm not claiming Minoan to be any kind of scam but their business practices do not line up with those in the industry that I have worked with, specifically the ones who provide the same or similar services. Based on this fact I would not work with them in any way shape or form, nor would I suggest that anyone else does.

Marie / Kat - If any of this upsets you and you would like to know exactly whom I have worked with and whom in "the industry" I could call to validate your existence. Please don't hesitate to to PM me, as I would gladly like your contact info to give to them for verification purposes.
