The message quoted below was just PM'd to me twice, from jesuismarie, who doesn't work for Minoan. After reintroducing me to this thread, which I'd totally forgotten about, I guess she handed the keyboard over to Katerina from Minoan.

I'm not deleting this thread, as 1) It began as an innocent question, 2) Is just natural, organic user-generated content and opinions (see: Yelp, Yahoo Local Reviews, and The Internet)...anyone is welcome to form their own opinion of Minoan. and 3) It wasn't being bumped antagonistically, and had totally died before being resurrected by jesuismarie.

But since the issue at hand is user-generated content, I guess I'll post it here for the users who are generating this content. There is a thread on this site that has totally gone out of control slamming a prominent company I work with and it's owners, and it's really become a nuisance. Since I've been defending them and am already logged in, one of admins at Minoan Music asked if I could pass this on to you for deletion of the thread. It's all totally legit, no scamming, they represent major artists like Iggy Pop, and work with everyone from Atlantic Records to Paramount Pictures, and all of their info is online and below. Please consider deleted the thread, as it really lowers the credibility of your site with so many amateurs making immature comments, and frankly, it's pissing everyone off as they've had to explain to new clients what all this is about! Hi Tom. Our company Minoan Music has been around for over 10 years, and has built up a credible reputation across the board in all facets of the industry. This thread has moved into the absurd, and I would appreciate it if you would delete it. The guy who started the board was never a client. In fact, we spent a lot of extra time with him explaining details, and even offered him a discount for our work to help him out. We do that a lot for Indie artists that could use a hand. We sent him paperwork, he agreed that he wanted to do it and was excited, and then posted this thread. Unfortunately it does happen, but once immature amateurs get into the mix, it becomes a free for all, and it's inappropriate that something like this should be on public display worrying clients. We've never had a complaint, we work with Indies and Majors, and you can get a taste of our clientele and catalogue of music from these links:

The only one of the bunch who ever had any cred was Cuccurullo and that all went out the window when he joined Duran Duran.

If you are going to post here, why not do so in a positive fashion? Perhaps write about what guitar effects your supergroup likes to use. Does Roger O'Donnell run his keys through anything? I know that the other guys in the Cure used a lot of Boss effects. I bought a CE-2 and a BF-2 inspired by early Cure albums (although I do understand Roger was not involved with them). I'm sure a lot of us here would like to see some pedal-board shots!
