[quote="Bassus Sanguinis"] to stay in subject, I managed to miss Arktau Eos - one of the finest ritual ambient bands in existence - because EVERYBODY wanted to be on stage that magical day when the World ended. quote]
Ah man that sucks, I bet that would have been something to see!
I was on a trip through Europe with a ticket to see Radiohead in Berlin, but there was that tragic stage collapse in America a week earlier which killed their drum tech and others. Pretty terrible, I probably shouldn't feel too bad for myself considering the greater effect of the situation but another year went by that I haven't been able to see Radiohead
Well, shit. Just missed my first show of 2012. Mission of Burma in Cambridge. All set to go up last night, checked the listing, sold out. Go figure: legendary beloved band sells out special hometown show. SHOCKER!
Next time I step up, eat the handling charges, and buy in advance like every other person who wants to see the goddamned show.

Me too buddy. Car died in the cold, and I was going to grab tickets at the door.
fuck, that's right...i missed Radiohead too, because they played at Outside Lands in SF and i HATE festivals with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. though i'd go to Coachella just to see Blur, who i adore.
