I wanted a fully transportable setup to play with anytime anywhere, so I took one of these-

some foam offcuts and a few toys and made this

Sorry for the horrible photo quality, but I have only the camera on my laptop. The Nintendo DS is running the Korg DS10 cartridge, fed into the Monotron Duo then into the Casper Drone Lab. That then goes into the Marshall MS2 Amp at the back. Everything sits super snug into the foam and I'd happily take it out and about, though it could be redone better.
It's tiny by my usual irresponsible standards, but having fewer things to play with means I'm getting deeper into each unit and really enjoying it. Plus it's small enough to sit comfortably on my lap.
It's a bit of an adventure trying to balance the levels with everything being in series, and there are so many filters in the chain it's insane. It is the best synth fun I've had in ages though, and the only real weak link is the DS battery life. Three hours jamming between charges is my guess, but I have a spare DS
