Ab-synth question
Ok, so quick question. I just want to find out if this is normal ab-synth behavior, it's not a big deal honestly. However when I engage mine it takes about .5 seconds for the effect to start. Like it sort of ramps up, which means I can't exactly use it for a fast change of sound. Is that normal? It has been that way since I got it, and it has never been an issue but still.

This is normal for v1 and v1.5 AB-Synths.
It's the result of a mod done to avoid oscillation bleed-thru. (The AB-Synth has an atypical oscillation circuit, and no traditional oscillation pot to ground.) I'd always said this was worth the trade-off, so you don't have weird noises bleeding into your bypassed tone.
v2 doesn't have the fade-in / ramp up...and also doesn't have oscillation bleed-thru. If you want instructions on how to mod it for the new bypass (or want me to do it), email me!
