1. Full Gig Rig - Amp/Instrument/Pedal Board/Strap/Laptop/Fog machine - If you don't play out, post what you would use if you did
2. Pedal Board - 5 pedals or less (Tuners don't count)
3. Pedal Board - 6 pedals or more
4. Single Instrument - Guitar/Bass/Keys/Drums/Synth - Mostly stock or with minor modifications
5. DIY Creation - Guitar/Bass/Synth/Pedal/Time Machine/Expression Controlled Butt Plug/Noise Maker etc. - Shit you'd never find in a store
Only one entry per person. Demos encouraged.
This a very good list, but i feel 4 and 5 are too general. But i feel that splitting the boards via pedal size is a really good idea. How should we handle pedal accessories in that count? i.e. a DMC controller for a timeline, its not in the signal chain but its technically a pedal?

(less than 250 posts) - I love this category, its like a welcome to the family
2. Best DIY Pedal Build- enough of us build or tinker here to be able to make something (I think that mods and bends could count as well for this category,
mandatory demo)
3. Best Overall Pedalboard- General enough and seems to work well
(maybe split in two or three by post counts or number of pedals onboard?)4. Best Full Rig- Not 'everything I own'- what you'd gig with
5. Best Guitar or Bass
6. Best OMD
(other musical device) - THIS could be the most interesting of all

I like this idea ALOT. Mixing in with MEC's idea I think we could go ahead and split the pedal board category in to atleast 2 categories based on size.
I will eventually Make a poll listing the different category ideas you guys have so that we can find out what everyone prefers.
So for the pedalboard post count, 2 or 3 categories and what should be the sizes?
If we do 2 categories i would think:
Cat 1) Pedalboard size 1-8 (basically PT jr and smaller)
Cat 2) Pedalboard size 9+
If we do three categories
Cat 1) Pedalboard size 1-5
Cat 2) pedalboard size 6-10
Cat 3) pedalboard size 11+
