Yeah, my friend used to have a TH30 and was always bummed how it didn't jive well with loud fuzz, and he really wanted that like...volume contrast between distorted and clean, y'know? I think now he uses a fucking plexi or something, but whenever I saw him most recently, he was using a JCM2000 on clean, and it sounded pretty gnarly. Rich bastard has the sweetest shit. Used to have a JCM 800 but it blew up. And, then I informed him that you have to have the speaker cable plugged in before you turn it on, and yes, it should actually be a speaker cable.

i've been seriously playing for 30 yrs., have a degree in music composition, have toured, recorded and owned tons of great gear and i just learned more on this thread about how to control a tube amp and fuzz than i ever have. again, i fucking love this board!!!
