Wow, Kayzer's demo is amazing. I think that will answer the question of if it gets heavy enough for an OD...

Judging by his demo it can def get heavy but I think the elements definitely surpasses it in that arena. I see the Talons as the ultimate OCD killer pedal, the elements is much higher gain and is more of a distortion then an OD IMO.
