We are actually all pretty nice and friendly around here. I was just joking around but I guess it is hard to convey humor over this here interweb. And you should listen to dystopia. They are sludgy. I just dont know about all that core nonsense.

Thanks Fungalattack I don't mean to be a sour puss its just I have been on a hiatus from them for awhile so my interweb humor sensitivity must be way off. I have a Dystopia tattoo! I love them!
Im guess I really don't know what to call it but there are "current" hardcore bands infusing sludge and fuzzy metal. I love sludge I was hoping to get exposed to new hybrid sludge!!

You should check out buzzovens album called sore. It is sludgy while retaining that punk hardcore mentality.

Definitely dig the new Kylesa A LOT!!!!! Love me some Black Tusk as well.

I got to see a song & a half by Black Skies, and they kicked my ass. I raved about them elsewhere, but here they are again: http://blackskies.bandcamp.com/album/on ... gs-of-time

All right, I know that we're getting into splitting hairs whenever we discuss subgenres and crossover genres, but would anyone care to explicate the differences between crust and sludge?
