If you found one i'd be amazeddd, there were about 100 made then he dissapeared off the face of the planet and hasn't replied to emails in about 6 years apparently.

If only there were gut shots available to clone it :(

I remember seeing one on eBay last year, but it was horrendously expensive.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Goddamn. Looks pretty awesome nonetheless.
You just need a passive bass, a tube amp, and a metric ton of marijuana and Sabbath worship.

Who is this markom and how can we get him to give us some gut shots?

Markom89 on TGP. He's known for his billions of rare/expensive/extremely expensive effects. He refuses to even demo his Schumann though. :idk:

Grumbles :grumpy: no chance of getting him to open it then lol, I doubt i'l ever see guts of that pedal... and I accept that.

Nah I did read of someone with a broken one trying to open it but it was so jammed in it was hard to get things out so even guts might be hard to trace.

A work a like is probably achievable though, if I was that desperate.

I would suggest what some others have said -- before you get a pedal, try using an ebow.

That alone might get you the sound you want -- even if it doesn't, with your taste I'm sure it will be a valuable addition to your gear :bob:

to be honest, a lot of what the major drone bands do (sunnO))), Earth etc) is achieved mostly through IMMENSE volume.

I would recommend a good fuzz + reverb + BIG LOUD AMP

You can then play around adding delay, ebows and other tricks, but the main sound is probably best achieved that way.

This is true, though I would recommend getting analog delay(s) for their warm muddyish sound. I use my blue box> Big Muff > Boss DM-2 and it is

That is exactly my preferred setup as well! :thumb:

Although I have an Ibanez AD9....into a DD6....into a Headrush....into a Holy Grail.... :erm:
