The Bongo is a weird beast. It really does look like a fucking toilet seat. But every time I hear a clip of one, it sounds absolutely tits.

I've played Parker from Cough's 70's Ric and it was total tits. I dont have bass gas, but if I did, it would be for a 4003

This is my current bass gas.... just a simple American p-bass in black on black.... Nate from converge is too blame.... It's what he used on Axe To Fall and i love that bass tone.

Oh, and not to spoil any sort of crazy reveal, but a DOD250 with a hot passive bass (tone & vol all the way up) into mostly any "classically voiced" tube amp will get you that OM lightning-falling-out-of-the-sky tone.
