mmm. the features are mostly in the old demo video i posted. you have free running and hold mode. a variety of arpeggio patterns. tap tempo, a mix knob and a rate knob. i think less is more at this point, there is no easy way to make on on the fly pattern editor with the controls i used and i am not adding an expression pedal sweep deal on this revision because its too much work/hacking since everything is already designed, although it is a really good suggestion. on the flip side if you really want a particular pattern(s) that isn't already there, i can add it in for you no problem before shipping at no cost.
i dont really take pre orders because i tend to be bad at predicting what sort of free time im going to have and i hate owing people things in such situations. so instead i just make a list of the people who contacted me expressing interest and then email them in order when i have units before i offer anything publicly. if they want it at that time they get it first dibs. otherwise i just go down the list, if no one else is on the list i advertise. im making 5 now there are about 3 people on the list. I have stock to make about 22 though so its not like there will be some crazy shortage.
send me an email to mtl.asm@gmail.com if you want to be on said list.
@ eric! i was hoping to have one to add to the secret santa originally but maybe next year haha.

Related thought: could you set it to the octave arpeggio, turn the rate all the way down, and treat it just like an octaver? HRM.
That would be great...
Yes you can just use it as pitch shifter. There is a 'set' of arpeggios that only have 1 'step'. So it just stays on 1 note (regardless of the rate). You can get any note in chromatic steps +/- 1 octave. At the end of the video with the octave down into the hotcake this is the setup. The attribute is before the fuzz.
The actual shifted sound is a bit lofi and reverby but i will make a much more comprehensive set of clips when i have them ready to go with bass as well.

I sent you an email with some questions about the octave down mode.
Thanks.
yes its true bypass and yes it works of typical boss style power adapter (9v DC negative tip). And yes it tracks the bass strings of a guitar no problem. IT should track to about 30 Hz which Is lower than the bass string on a standard 4 string bass. As i said i will make a more useful set of clips next week.
also i think there are 5 people on the list but i will have many more than 5 eventually.
I'm interested, might sell my Octron to get one of those. Just want to hear more of the octave down with clean guitar before I take a decision. Thanks!!!
