+1 Hotplate are really good for this application. Just do not try the bedroom level stuff with them (=too much attenuation) - that castrates your sound.

Yes, you should worry. Supers can often exceed 120 or even 150 real watts when cranked. Go for a 50 watter or strap a safe attenuator if you're gonna wind it all the way up.
