LIT: Neil Gaiman

Post by FuzzHugger »

I've never been into graphic novels, but have read all of Gaiman's regular novels.
American Gods and Anasi Boys are just :omg:

Anyone else got some Gaiman love?

I like his Sandman stories and his short stories, but that's all I've read of his.

Yeah, I'm a massive fan of the Sandman series and I like a few other of his comics. I just read Stardust, which I thought wasn't that great. He's hit and miss, but where he hits it is amazing.

Stardust is okay. I liked it better the second time, but Anansi Boys is magical front to back.
American Gods is harder to wade through but is  and classic.

+ 1 on everything said about Anansi Boys that's one of the most open and entertaining novels I've read for a while. The only other Gaiman I've read is Stardust which was sort of alright. Clearly I'm going to have to make a library trip
