Yeah, I'm a massive fan of the Sandman series and I like a few other of his comics. I just read Stardust, which I thought wasn't that great. He's hit and miss, but where he hits it is amazing.
Stardust is okay. I liked it better the second time, but Anansi Boys is magical front to back. American Gods is harder to wade through but is and classic.
+ 1 on everything said about Anansi Boys that's one of the most open and entertaining novels I've read for a while. The only other Gaiman I've read is Stardust which was sort of alright. Clearly I'm going to have to make a library trip
