yeah, definitely don't bother with a b2re, especially not at that price. if you can find an old SVTIII pro for <300, though, get on it. I got a blue text 90's one for $250, replaced all the preamp tubes, and threw a rat in front of it and haven't looked back since. its not the most gear- nerdy amp out there, but its an incredible workhorse. loud, fat, and very flexible- amp gain at half, rat gain 3/4's down, rat vol 3/4's up, filter 1/2. tone is beastly, and it stacks up great with other fuzz. I actually preferred this over the SVT-CL I used to use, and at less than half the weight and cost.
that being said, I also rented a newer SVTIII for a tour in june and had it fizzle and crap out on me. swapped it for a newer CL, and it did the same thing

. so be wary.
