Not dissing on anime. It's just that when a show becomes too much about the greater picture it starts to lose the little details that people love in the first place.

Ok here is the thing... most of the long running horrid shounen animes [bleach, Naruto, One piece, fairy tail ect] manga counterparts come from one manga magazine called Shonen Jump http://shonenjump.viz.com/ I avoid almost all of their stuff in both media forms.

Series like that strike me as the "american action movies" of manga/anime. They're entertaining so long as you don't think about it, or expect something with like... depth.

Yeah, admittedly I'm not too familiar, but I guess that's what I'm trying to get at. In the same way, actions movies pander to viewers in the way anime is put into a cutthroat sort of monthly magazine to produce shallow crud like the things you were referring too.

But I'm not trying to say there isn't any good anime. There's plenty of good stuff for "anime-geeks" and non-anime freaks.

Oh a agree and I like my mindless crap.. but like what snipelfritz was getting at in a way is Shonen Jump could © kicking a dead horse  I would love some one to sit down and count every time "I don't get it" and "want are you saying" and "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?" come up in bleach to see which is used the most

Yeah, when I'm bored I just keep checking ILF and hoping someone made a post.
I could be working on my playing or something, you know, something productive -- nah, maybe there's a new post

I had this problem (my hair is currently shoulderbladesish length), so I grew out my facial hair. Then after about a year I realized that it just looked really silly 'cause I can't actually grow a legit beard/mustache. Sadness. The other alternative solution is to work out and such so that you have an unmistakably masculine physique, but I'm too lazy for that. That's why facial hair is the best option, because then you get to be even lazier than normal when you stop shaving. Or you could just become really tall, but that's a tough one.

And no, I will not just cut my hair. The chicks dig it, for reasons I do not understand. Fo' serious. I mean, I just look like a filthy hippie in reality, but there are numerous girls here who will walk up to me and be all like "OHMYGAWDILOVEYOURHAIR" and pet it and tell me it's super soft and stuff. Sometimes it's kinda creepy (like the girl who was like "I would totally make gloves out of your hair and wear them all the time") buuuuuut.... yeah.
