Yes, but don't you lot still speak that beautiful language? No harm, no foul. And "check" isn't really much simpler, it's just a lot less French. I'm no francophobe, but plenty of my mouth-breathing countrymen are.

Also, do you guys not have the "subjunctive mood" back in the motherland? Is that a subtle aspect of the language for which we moronic Americans are responsible for clumsily creating? I'm pretty sure it was there long before America, but you seem to have an extreme distaste for such nuances. No big deal either way to me. I'm not the English-language police or anything. Just sayin. :idk:

My mistake everyone! I made the common error of thinking this was a thread about plagiarism, when it was infact a thread about grammar nazis. Silly me!

i lol'd, or is that a correctly placed apostrophe? Probably get more unity for one of their own in /b/. ololol!

I first heard of this lame JHS company awhile ago on TGP, maybe a year ago or more... people were talking up these awesome clone pedals so I clicked the link to check 'em out... a site flat out selling direct copies of pedals that were currently in production by small/independent/original builders. He was blatantly and un-apologetically selling clones of Catalinbread, ZVEX, Analogman, Klon, and more, same pedal names even, just flat out stealing and using other builders' work and it was going over well for some reason.

I'll never understand why people let losers like that get away with it and I'm sorry to hear about your battles with him, Devi. I hope your war ends with his pedals impaled on sticks in your front yard.

<irony>i can't imagine why it would go over well with some people that someone was kicking Zvex and Cbread in the nuts. i mean, they've been so nice to everyone.</irony>

Actually, there was a video on youtube recently about everyone plagiarising everyone else. I think it might have been in relation to RATM for some reason. brb, will find.

nah it wasn't like that. It was moreso about how, for example, the tube screamer circuit is highly over-rated.

Aha! It was about QOTSA and ZVex, not RATM.

What's this from? I saw people asking this question on the youtube comments but I didn't see an answer.
