Hmm, thats strange. Mine wasn't that bad. But I ended up using my Headrush 2 more as time went on, and I eventually sold both. I'd buy the headrush new again, maybe a used SMMWH though.

I got fed up with it and traded it for another DL4 and haven't looked back!

Ever since the M13 and M9 DL4 prices have been going down so its only a matter of time before a reasonably priced one
pops up just make sure you get it with the power supply.

Also, be gentle with it. I've heard and seen too many horror stories unfold about the relative flimsiness of the DL4 to not say something.

I always had the Blend set a little higher or lower depending on the situation, so he volume drop wasn't there.

No matter where I tried to put the blend their was a considerable volume drop. :(

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I sold that pedal a while ago but I seem to remeber the drop on all settings. My favorite setting that was like a ring mod sound had a huge drop and that was blend max wet.

I seem to remeber the drop becoming more noticable the louder my amp was set as well. So it was bad for band action. Also mine had a janky bypass switch and that was before I could solder. So combine those two things and add that I didn't really like the delay and it was pretty useless to me in a band so I sold it.

Even still I love that pedal and kindof miss mine.

I seem to remember reading about a volume mod you could do to fix that issue
is this actually possible? :idk:

This is absolutely my favorite thing about the El Cap.

Also, if you like that dark, lofi, vibrato'd sound, check out the Dr. Scientist Cosmichorus. If you set it for vibrato, it sounds a lot like that.

Cody_pole - I'm sure there is a fix, but I don't know anything about that.

I like the skreddy echo cause it sounds crazy by its self but it has a built in fx loop that can give you endless posabilities.

Nova Repeater.

At the price point it is loaded with options. Tap tempo, ping pong, 1/4, 1/8, 1/4&1/8 notes, overflow, vibrato, chorus, tonal variations.....blah blah.... Considering most TC stuff of this calibre is priced way higher it is a wicked package...Absolutely killer
