Needs moar fuzz, of course. :p

Seriously, though, do they offer electric versions, or just the acoustic?

Looks like two people didn't even bother to look at the website... :p

Yeah, it doesn't look like they're acoustic at all. In the first clip he's plugged in the whole time, and all the related videos have guys running into amps. I found one where the guy was using a phaser and another with an autowah.

The bigger one even has 2 x outs - one for bass and one for treble. That's pretty cool.

Looks like there is a version that has built in effects (even though in the description it says it's being run through axe-fx). Don't know if it's on the market or if it's just for this dream theater dude but I'm too lazy to find out. :picard:

Nah, that's just the 24-string version. I'm pretty sure that the "improved electronics" are just the better piezos and stuff.

:idk: I didn't even look... I don't care about what they actually cost personally :idk: Looking at the thing.... it wouldn't take that much to reverse engineer it... Actually when I look at it I see stuff that compared to what stick has been doing with their frets for more sustain this thing is a bit... dated... Also the tuning system is rather lo-tech there is a guy that did a how-to [if I remember right] on how you do that type of tuner with stuff from your local hardware store on http://www.mimf.com/ it's in their library which you need to register to get at... I'm pretty sure it was a pedal steel..
