We did this a couple times in highschool. It was awesome, and no one ever got in trouble.

I wear double flares. Hate messing with all those weird other ones with o-rings and whatnot. Don't know if you've ever seen the rubber-like squishy ones, but they stayed in my ears better than anything else. Plus, they are soft, so if you roll over or get hit or something, your plug doesn't hurt you. Don't think they make them in 3/4" though so I stick with my clear acrylic ones. Everyone thinks they are mirrors or something, then they realize they are seeing right through my ear.
