:idk: ...Played one of the old muffs that had an option to bypass the tone control,cool sound but not nearly enough headroom.

I don't know anything about the new one,but I'm interested to hear from someone who played the thing. :poke:

These were supposed to start going out but nobody seems to have one yet. "Use the Wicker switch to open up three high-frequency filters for raspy, sustaining distortion with top-end bite"

Remains to be seen how useful this is...though I guess you can't go wrong with a muff that has 2 extra switches. If the wicker and tone bypass suck you still have a big muff :idk:

From the description on the EHX site, it looks like the Signal Pad is simply a clean boost. :idk:

Or did you guys who speak techy know that already?

No, the LPB-1 is a clean boost.

The signal pad is a passive volume control. Didn't there used to be an E13 pedal like that?

That said, the Signal Pad is 45 bucks, apparently. Why does a passive volume knob cost more than the LPB-1 booster? :idk:

i think the e13 pedal equivalent of the Signal Pad was the 05, which is now on the 05/25 - Punch Love pedal

Naw. the 05 is a clean boost. The signal pad is a cut. You're thinking of the JP.

http://www.pedalspluseffectswarehouse.c ... 3_s/75.htm

JP = Passive volume, 25 = clean boost, 05 = clipping boost.
