...Played one of the old muffs that had an option to bypass the tone control,cool sound but not nearly enough headroom.I don't know anything about the new one,but I'm interested to hear from someone who played the thing.

These were supposed to start going out but nobody seems to have one yet. "Use the Wicker switch to open up three high-frequency filters for raspy, sustaining distortion with top-end bite"
Remains to be seen how useful this is...though I guess you can't go wrong with a muff that has 2 extra switches. If the wicker and tone bypass suck you still have a big muff

From the description on the EHX site, it looks like the Signal Pad is simply a clean boost.
Or did you guys who speak techy know that already?

I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

No, the LPB-1 is a clean boost.
The signal pad is a passive volume control. Didn't there used to be an E13 pedal like that?
That said, the Signal Pad is 45 bucks, apparently. Why does a passive volume knob cost more than the LPB-1 booster?

i think the e13 pedal equivalent of the Signal Pad was the 05, which is now on the 05/25 - Punch Love pedal

Naw. the 05 is a clean boost. The signal pad is a cut. You're thinking of the JP.

JP = Passive volume, 25 = clean boost, 05 = clipping boost.
