probably the best new record i've heard since the last time i said that.

deerhoof is one of my favorite bands, but this is my least favorite deerhoof album.

The songs I heard as of a month ago did not interest me. Something happened after Friend Opportunity. Offend Maggie bleh, this one seems better but bleh. Milk Man, Reville! AMAZING!

well it's way more pop oriented, in the way that runners four and green cosmos were, it's a grower. I'll tell you as much.

I've never heard Deerhoof, but, based on what little I know about the band, I'm assuming it's an issue with Satomi's voice? :?:

Pretty much. Greg Saunier is one of the best drummers I've ever heard, and I'm really into the guitar style that they have, but I just cant stand what she brings to the band.
