I'm trying to build a small minimalist board, does that count?

do you reject your current board because of that? :-P
(btw i think i could build a board consisting of three pedals, but i'd miss these tiny details in my sound... )

partial. You and MLC are the only smart ones here that don't sell effects to get new ones. So you both have un -godly fuzz collections to make what ever combo you want.
But you always win.

I'm seriously considering a MkI Tone bender + treble Booster (+ tuner) = Done! small board.MaxMaps wrote:devnulljp wrote:I'm trying to build a small minimalist board, does that count?

Re: Have you ever completely "regenerated" your pedalboard?
I've done this kind of, in that the original set of pedals that I bought when I first jumped into effects have been replaced over the past year with better suited effects for me and what I do, instead of "I need one of these, of these..."
I currently have enough pedals that depending on my gigging situation and needs, I can build a decent board that will take care of everything. Now, I just need to find a couple of pedal boards that I can use to more easily move them around instead of just my big board.

the boss ge-7 has always been my closest friend as far as pedals go. when i'm wanting filtery, wah type stuff i've really had no reason to ditch my meatball since owning it. everything else has been switched around continuously in the past . however, the reverberator and goatkeeper (both of which i've owned for only a month now) are looking like new staples.

Re: Have you ever completely "regenerated" your pedalboard?
My board went through the process of "destruction" when I sold it all. So I guess everything up to now is regeneration. Now I'm acquiring effects that are 100% what I want, I've already gone through a big first-time stage. Of course there will still be experimentation and I'm sure I'll trade some stuff, but the concept is quality, even if it's slow to build up.

I wasn't really happy with my tone so yesterdsay I took my pedal board outside and shot it with a handgun about a dozen times. THAT motherfucker had some good tone.

You can't replace a Cosmi (nor would I want to!)
I'd like to see a delay best the tone of the e600d
Rusty Box COULD be replaced, but I'd like to see some things try
year4545...doubt it

I have regenerated my board three or four times in the last 4 years. Pictures to come.

look at your pedalboard... could you push yourselves to replace EVERYTHING with something different?
I've done this maybe twice... ATM no other then wanting to take off a few that are "just there" [Rotovibe, bluebox] and get a slightly smaller actual board I love my set up
