Devi is the space lord! This thing is a dream, amazing oldschool look, brilliant cartridge concept, and other pedal makers on board to make the cartridges. Hell yes, I love you
!!!
Im pretty sure this wont run on batterys right? Zall good just curious. That would be sick if there were expression inputs so you could have an atari joystick tweakin like on some of devi's pedals.
Oh, and would you mind describing how I would integrate this with my breadboard designs? Or elaborate on how that part works. Great job on this amazing product!

im a little confused about the pots. are the pedal builders going to have to design their circuits around a specific value pot or are they digital pots or somthing like that?

Re: Effector 13 - Console II
Devi,
I already commented about how cool this is, but I'm seriously thinking of pre-ordering. Will this be a limited run or based on orders? Will there be bass friendly units or will that even be an issue?
Sorry if those questions have been answered. The more pages this thread gets, the harder it is to find the answers.

Re: Effector 13 - Console II
Just do the cards on the top side of the pedal. Then on the face to have a small window above the knobs that allows you to see what card is inserted (with knob labels). Cover the whole face in lexan (as your "window") and keep LEDs inside the pedal so when the effect is engaged you can read the knob layout and see it's engaged. Also from the audience perspective they can see the cards sticking out at them that read "dwarfcraft" or "smallsound/bigsound." then there shouldn't be any worries about snapping card, the face looks cooler cause you can see the illuminated cards via the window, AND you have knob layout labels. Boom.
Devi, if you'd like for me to do a mockup of what I'm talking about let me know.

AFAIK, its supposed to be a regular production dealio
The console itself is just that, a console
The cartridges/circuits themselves will determine the bass friendliness
Given that the builders currently committed to this project are all ILFers (or past in the case of Malekko) and generally build bass friendly pedals, I can assure you a bass player will not be limited in his/her options

Can we see a real picture of this thing? Not that the advertising poster isn't cool (it is).

This message is most likely very old, so things said here probably don't apply to the current state of all things devi ever. As always, you can visit www.deviever.com for the latest on devi ever related projects.

Re: Effector 13 - Console II
I am never a fan of pre-ordering, so I guess that also counts for now.. Hope I don't have to wait for hundreds of sold out batches before finally obtaining one
