It looks to me as though you will be able to buy different fuzzies cartridges and mix and match them in a dual pedal style. Fucking awesome.

Do I win anything for the first correct answer? Really cool btw Devi I've been just leaving a spot of my board for swapping out different fuzzies as I see fit this seems like the perfect solution to this habit of mine. Plus the price point is right rock on!

I know that this would be wayyyyyyyyyy too complex for the console, but anything that can get Josh thinking about pedals again (and possibly getting closer to resuscitating the Holley Erectus) is cool in my book.

But, to be more on topic: the cascading is what sells this for me. Boosting your SM with a Singing Tree in a single pedal? Cascading a Wolf Computer into a Shiva IN A SINGLE PEDAL?!? VFM INTO GREAT WALL IN A SINGLE PEDAL!?!?!

Needless to say, I will be watching this for further development with great anticipation.

That seems fucking awesome! Will it work well with the bass as well as guitar? Or will different cartridges work for for different instruments? Genius idea BTW.

The latter
First time I've been excited for a new product, will buy
(you guys better actually pull through with this, I'm hoping it gets done since there are quite a few builders already on board)

edit:
suggestion: color options for the base case, different colored cartridges, etc.
the most basic way to add some sense of customization without changing the guts
plays in to the products spiel and people (especially those who post on message boards) love to show the world what an individual they are through their pedal color choice
sure this was already in the console's near future though

Relating to your pedal costs posts, I like how the console shoves the bulk of the costs into the initial investment (enclosure, switches, pots, other hardware)
Also, following this form factor, small SMD cartridges leaves manufacturing in robot hands, also driving down the cost
The mockup product looks a lot more professional and less DIY than the Zvex too
Overall, seems like what you've always been working towards so I hope it succeeds

Also, I'm assuming that's Freud on the SM cartridge. If so, INSTANT WIN FOR EVERYONE!
